Meet the team
Ikan Bilis owns the studio. The twelve specialists below each look after one part of making a game, and each is named after a food. Each project (a game, or this website) has a lead that plans the work, hands it out and checks it. Work stops after every milestone until Ikan Bilis has reviewed it and said go. Nothing goes public without Ikan Bilis's OK.
The tiny anchovy the studio is named after, and the one in charge. Every decision is this little fish's, every milestone waits for its "go", and it is learning game development by making these very games.
Rules research, sources, curriculum facts and the terms in both languages.
Strong, black and up late with the rulebooks. Gentle with people, never with a shaky source.
Lessons, puzzles, mastery goals and the difficulty curve.
Hatches ideas and cracks the ones that don't work. Lives for the moment it all clicks for a player.
The voxel style, the palette, the characters and how clearly every screen reads.
Fragrant, green and fussy about outlines. A toy should be recognisable from its shadow alone.
The rules engine, the app code, performance and the build.
Small, crunchy and dependable. Keeps the whole game running and never cracks under load.
The computer opponents, their levels and the balance tests.
Thinks low and slow. No opponent comes to the table until it has simmered long enough.
Music, character voices, sound effects and the Sound Test screen.
Loud, spicy and cheeky. Every note is made fresh here, never borrowed.
Usability, accessibility, wording and the playtest kits.
Smooth and rich. Makes hard things go down easy, and speaks up for the player who isn't in the room.
Tests, fairness checks and the pillar review at every milestone.
Cool as a cucumber. Believes nothing until it's seen it run.
Pricing and the one-time unlock, store rules, age ratings and launch plans.
Sweet, smooth and spread evenly. Every player gets the same fair slice.
Release builds and version numbers, store uploads prepared for Ikan Bilis, and patches.
A small block, packed tight, with a big punch. Nothing leaves the kitchen until it's wrapped properly.
Store page words, the screenshot plan, and launch and social drafts.
Served cool, sweet and a little bit green. Says what the game really is, and never pushes.
This website: every page, its look and its build, in both languages.
Woven tight from simple strips. Small, neat, and holds everything the studio needs to say.
